Principle counsellor Carl has over 25 years working in therapeutic environments with 16 years working in private practice as a counselling Psychotherapist. Carl's integrative approach means that for every client, the approach is tailored to individual needs, calling on different techniques and tools to create a truly responsive service. Carl recognises that every client is different and that using single therapeutic approach is simply not sufficient to treat unique individuals. 

Carl holds the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) accredited Advanced Diploma in Counselling as well as an MSc in Psychology. In addition to his core qualifications Carl has undertaken extensive training and qualifications in many different subjects related to therapy including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Neurodiversity, gender, identity, grief, trauma, abuse, anxiety, suicide, self harm and many others. 

Carl is a registered member of the BACP and a member of the British Psychological Society (BPS). 

Counselling is one to one and takes place in a comfortable, confidential environment between Guildford and Godalming in Surrey.

Carl works with a network of other counsellors and is able to make onward referral to make sure you can work with the post appropriate therapist for your needs.
